These are the services available to guests of the Casali del Moraiolo,
a series of tours organized to discover the roots of Umbria.
On request it is possible to rent bikes for both MTB and electric bikes.
On request it is possible to request the presence of a physiotherapist at the farmhouses or wellness center for single sessions.
The tour includes a visit to a local producer who will show the traditional processing stages of pork meat and typical Umbrian pork. The tour will conclude with a tasting and the possibility of buying pork products.
Chianina is a quality of fine meat typical of central Italy. The visit includes visiting a local producer with access to the stables and slaughterhouse where the meat is processed. It will be possible to purchase the product directly from the company shop.
The tour includes a visit to the characteristic city of Deruta, famous worldwide for its ceramics. Visit a local manufacturer who will describe all the steps involved in the processing of high-quality ceramics. The tour will be completed with a visit to the ceramic museum.
Cooking classes are held at villas rented by customers. The courses are based on the use of the best seasonal ingredients and include the preparation of appetizer, first, second and sweet, all followed by lunch or dinner (you will eat what has been prepared during the course!)
The courses that will be held at the rented villas and include a tour also include tastings of DOC and DOCG wines produced by the best Umbrian wineries.
A classic Umbrian dinner prepared directly at the property for rent of customers, using only the best local and seasonal products. The DOC and DOCG wines produced by the best Umbrian wineries are included in the price.
Evening pizza possible only for those who stay in villas with pizza oven.
A magical morning spent floating on the beautiful Umbrian valley with views of the whole area that stretches between Tuscany and Marche! The tour starts from Bevagna at 7:00 am (30 minutes before or after) and lasts about an hour. After the hot-air balloon tour there will be a light breakfast and a wine tasting in a local cellar. All this followed by a walk through the medieval Bevagna and lunch in a local restaurant.
Our first stop will be in a stone flour mill and a bakery with wood-burning oven. We will learn how to start working bread from wheat! We will then move on to the local farm where animals are raised for the production of cured meats, meat and cheese. We will prepare cheese and pasta with Grandmother Rita before you enjoy a typical farm lunch.
A tour characterized by tasting and driving through the main roads of the Umbrian valley. We will start with a visit to a local goat cheese producer in the Montefalco area where we will taste a variety of homemade cheeses. The next stop is at a mill where we will learn something more about Umbrian bread and taste local specialities. No tasting tour in Umbria would be complete without a visit to an olive oil mill to taste "liquid gold"! Our final stop is at a cellar for a tour of the estate, a taste of wine and lunch.

We will go up the "Minimetrò" to reach the highest part of the Etruscan city to enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole area.
Walking through the streets of the city we will visit a weaver who produces jacquard on sheets of the seventeenth century, while we will observe the work of local craftsmen and shopkeepers along the way! To conclude lunch in a tavern known for its exclusive use of Umbrian products.
A tour along the country roads accompanied by an Italian guide through vineyards and olive groves that characterize the hills of the Umbrian valley, planned stops in small villages along the way. The day will be completed with a picnic lunch in the beautiful Umbrian countryside!
